1. Acceptance
By using concoremedia.com (the "Site") you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.
2. What the Site is
Concore Media publishes free interactive tools and editorial content for hobbyists, currently fly fishing and guitar, with more areas planned. We also sell paid services directly, such as one-on-one guitar lessons (see Section 5). The Site is operated by Concore LLC, a Connecticut limited liability company.
3. Affiliate disclosure
Some links on the Site are affiliate links: if you click one and buy something, we may earn a
commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate links are marked with rel="sponsored"
and route through /go/. We only link products we'd use ourselves.
4. No professional advice
Hatch charts, fly recommendations, stocking data, and any other content on the Site are best-effort information for hobbyists. Always verify state regulations (CT DEEP for Connecticut), private property boundaries, and current water conditions before fishing. Fishing carries inherent risks: slick rocks, cold water, weather. Use your judgment. We are not responsible for your safety or for outcomes from using the information here.
5. Paid services and guitar lessons
Some offerings are paid services sold directly by Concore LLC, most notably one-on-one guitar lessons. These are not affiliate links; you are buying a service from us. Lesson prices, session lengths, and any package terms are stated on the lessons page and are the prices in effect when you book. We may change prices for future bookings.
Scheduling and rescheduling. Reschedule or cancel free with at least 24 hours' notice. A lesson cancelled with less notice, or missed without notice, is treated as completed and used, except that we will forgive one late cancellation or no-show as a courtesy. Lessons run online over Google Meet. If we cancel a session, you get a reschedule or a full refund for that session, your choice. If a session is cut short by a connection or audio failure on either side, we reschedule the remaining time at no cost.
Packages and payment. Multi-lesson packs are valid for three months from purchase. Monthly-plan lessons are intended for that month; with 24 hours' notice you may roll one unused lesson into the next month. If you stop a pack or plan early, we refund the lessons you have not taken, with any completed lessons billed at the single-lesson rate. The free intro has no charge and nothing to refund. Payment is handled by third-party processors such as Stripe (see our Privacy Policy); we do not store full card numbers. Lessons are instructional and for general educational purposes; we make no guarantee of any particular musical result.
6. Accuracy
We work hard to keep the data accurate but make no warranty that any specific reading, hatch list, fly recommendation, or stocking entry is current or correct. USGS readings are live but can lag or be offline. If you spot something wrong, tell us.
7. Acceptable use
Don't scrape the Site automatically without permission. Don't try to disrupt the Site or other users' use of it. Don't use the contact form to send spam or harassment.
8. Intellectual property
Editorial content on the Site is © Concore LLC unless otherwise noted. You can quote brief passages with attribution and a link back. Hatch data, fly libraries, and other databases are licensed for personal use; please don't republish them wholesale.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SITE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CONCORE LLC, ITS MEMBERS, AND CONTRIBUTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Connecticut.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. The "last updated" date above is the current version date.
